The Seminole Indian name of this 150-acre urban park, Topeekeegee Yugnee, means “meeting or gathering place,” and the park’s comprehensive makeover makes it a more welcoming place than ever. The park is well known for its shady picnic areas, numerous shelters, a gazebo that is often booked for an exchange of wedding vows, and a variety of community events that take place.
