Swipe Left: Behind The Cut

SWIPE LEFT: Behind the Cut is a public work-in-progress screening and filmmaker conversation that invites audiences into the creative process behind the short film before its final release. Guests will view the current rough cut, explore behind-the-scenes materials from production, and hear directly from the filmmakers about the story, themes, performances, and creative decisions that shaped the project from script through post-production.

Following the screening, the filmmakers will lead a moderated discussion and audience Q&A focused on the film’s development, challenges, and intended impact. The event gives community members a rare opportunity to engage with an independent film while it is still being refined, creating a more participatory experience that highlights both the finished storytelling and the collaborative process required to bring it to the screen.
