Intro to Figure Drawing with Michele Del Campo

This monthly series will be held on September 24, October 22 and November (TBA). Attend one or all classes.

Learn to see like an artist. Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or returning to drawing after years away, this class offers a fun and approachable introduction to figure drawing.

Led by artist Michele Del Campo, this welcoming, hands-on class explores the fundamentals of drawing the human figure. Through guided exercises and demonstrations, you’ll learn gesture, proportion, observation, and expressive mark-making while building confidence with each session.

Experiment with a variety of drawing materials, strengthen your artistic skills, and develop your own creative style in a relaxed, supportive environment. No previous drawing experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Artist Background

Born in southern Italy, Michele Del Campo is an internationally acclaimed figurative painter whose work has been exhibited across Europe, Latin America, and the United States. After studying illustration and fine arts in the United Kingdom and Spain, he received Spain’s prestigious Premio BMW painting award in 2006.

Now based in Miami, Del Campo is known for his expressive, narrative-driven paintings that explore human connection, emotion, and everyday life. Drawing inspiration from his travels and the people he meets, his work invites viewers to see beyond place and into the shared experiences that connect us all.
