“Inside Lola” Script-to-Screen Community Preview

Presented by Joshua Naville at Paid2Exist Studios

Lola Visual Treatment

LOLA: From Page to Screen is a public development showcase that invites audiences into the creative process of bringing the short film Lola from script to screen before principal photography begins. The event will feature live readings of selected scenes performed by actors, along with concept art, mood boards, wardrobe and location references, and visual materials that illustrate the film’s intended cinematography and production design. Attendees will also hear directly from the filmmakers about the story’s themes, cultural significance, and the creative decisions shaping the project.

The showcase will conclude with a moderated discussion and audience Q&A, giving community members an opportunity to engage with the filmmakers, ask questions about the production process, and respond to the material. By opening the development process to the public, the event provides an educational and participatory look at independent filmmaking while building awareness and community connection around Lola before cameras begin rolling.
