CID International Congress on Dance Research 2026

Dear Colleagues and Dance Enthusiasts

You are invited to the 12th Annual International Congress on Dance Research, taking place in Broward County, Florida, November 11th–15th, 2026. This year’s theme, Healing Through Dance,” featuring the Pre-Hispanic Dance of Mexico & indian Classical Dance, celebrates cultures and affirms dance as a universal language of healing, identity, and unity.

Hosted at The City of Hallandale Cultural Center and Nova Southeastern University. The Congress is organized by the Hallandale Section of CID-UNESCO Inc, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of the City Council.

More than a celebration, this global gathering advances the Social & Cultural Dance Educational Scholarships Project — building a bridge between Broward County, Florida, and The World by creating pathways of opportunity for youth whose talent is abundant but whose access to resources is limited. Your participation and support make this vision possible.

This Conference Includes lectures, workshops, presentations, a networking party, and International Ballroom & Latin Dance performances.
