Nicholas Blackford

I am a 2D animation artist that brings whimsical characters and heartfelt stories to life through expressive, hand-crafted motion. Working at the intersection of playful design and cinematic storytelling, preferred story telling mediums are short-form animations, reels, and narrative pieces that balance humor, warmth, and emotional clarity.

Rooted in a love for classic cartoons and modern digital workflows, I mainly focus on character-driven narratives that connect quickly with audiences across social media and online platforms. Each project is approached as a collaboration, with visuals tailored to amplify a client’s message, brand identity, or story while retaining the studio’s signature charm and personality.
