Fort Lauderdale International Book Fair

Our mission is to promote literacy and youth volunteering through our annual event, The Fort Lauderdale Book Fair on Saturday February 6th,2027 from 11am to 4pm in Esplanade Park. The book fair has evolved into a local author showcase and through our participating high school students, community outreach. Meet local authors, browse books, and bring the kids to our free art station. This year we are sponsoring outreach into a local senior center’s book club. We have purchased books from local authors who then attend the book clubs meeting and discuss their books with attendees. We are also
sponsoring an essay contest in conjunction with the Museum of Discovery and
Science’s Annual Science Fair. Our organization was founded on June 1st, 2022, and has had 501(c)(3) status since then.
