Sylvain’s photo studio/gallery is located in Fort Lauderdale where he works as a freelance photographer specializing in portrait, headshots, fashion, commercial and promotional work.
This encompassed a wide spectrum of commissions, running the gamut from assignments for Time Magazine, photographing athletes in the USA and Europe for American and European publications to shooting high fashion, collaborating with top stylists and designers.
Sylvain’s commercial work has appeared in magazines both nationally and internationally.

This collection spans a 20-year career sampling his time across the rugged desert landscape from northern Utah to southern Arizona.
Antelope Canyon often called “The Slots” or “The Corkscrew” A sandstone canyon carved from millions of years of flash flood, in the summertime when the canyon is basked in the sun, the bouncing light of the sandstone canyon walls create wonderful hues and waves of light which change every few minutes, making it probably one of the most challenging and favourite places to photograph.
Sylvain’s camera of choice for his fine art photography is a medium format film camera, known for their larger size negatives that are transferred into digital files through the process of Drum scanning, which give the highest image resolution possible, each 2.3 gigabyte images are then printed on to metallic paper compressed between polished plexiglass for their superior glossy and finished look.
