John Knox Village

John Knox Village is a 70-acre campus located between Dixie Highway and I-95 just three blocks south of Atlantic Blvd. There are 1,200 residents at this Life Plan community, which is different than regular retirement villages. When people come to live here, they are guaranteeing their health care for the rest of their lives. They come here as independent and healthy individuals; however, when and if they need higher care, there is assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, and hospice. Of the 1,200 residents, 1,000 are independent, and the balance are in higher care.

The Life Enrichment Department at John Knox Village of Florida presents more than 30 large-scale concerts annually in the 350-seat theater. Past performers have included: Tito Puente, Jr., Nestor Torres, Jay Siegel’s Tokens, Miami City Ballet, Florida Grand Opera, South Florida Symphony, Fushu Daiko and more.
