Serenade to Music

Seraphic Fire’s 24th season opens with a celebratory program welcoming Seraphic Fire’s new Artistic Director, Dr. James K. Bass. Spanning more than three centuries of choral artistry, this luminous concert features works never before performed live for our audiences, including Vaughan Williams’ “Serenade to Music,” Eric Whitacre’s “When David Heard,” and Buxtehude’s Baroque meditation “Ad Manus,” reimagined through Caroline Shaw’s contemporary response, “To the Hands.”
