Promotion for the new exhibition by local artist, Jen Little will showcase a range of encaustic techniques to fascinate viewers.

“WAX. PIGMENT. FIRE.” is a solo exhibition showcasing the range, depth, and expressive power of encaustic painting. While the medium has existed for over 2,000 years—originating in ancient Greece and Egypt—it remains less frequently encountered in contemporary exhibitions. This presentation will highlight the distinctive materiality, luminous depth, and tactile qualities of encaustic, offering fresh perspectives for those familiar with the medium and a rich visual experience for those discovering it anew.
