Experience the form and grace of tropical flora through a collection of life-size botanical watercolor paintings, many of which were painted from flora within Flamingo Gardens itself. Learn the stories of the plants and the people as you read colorful narratives that
accompany each piece. Follow a coded map to find these plants in the garden and
meet the plants that inspired the paintings.

There are places where the revered life forms eat light and don’t speak.

Where trees are encouraged to sprawl and are never cut down.

Where great age is honored and fragility admired.

Where people cultivate plants and, in return, ask only for shade.

These are the Flora Sanctums and this is one of their stories.
