OPEN CALL TO ARTISTS: “Back to Our Future” Pub at the Hub 2025

Event Description:
The Community Classroom Project’s (CCP) annual Pub at the Hub is returning with an ’80s-themed bash called “Back to Our Future” on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Held at The Hub at Space of Mind, we will teleport you straight to the ’80s, decked out in a neon explosion with Insta-worthy themed rooms, interactive entertainment, an art sale featuring works from both professional and student artists, a mystery auction, and plenty of 80s pop culture and memorabilia!

Exhibition Theme:
Artists are invited to reflect on “Back to Our Future,” exploring how revisiting past values, skills, or experiences can inspire innovative and mindful futures. Works should embody themes of resilience, creativity, and growth, aligned with the spirit of connection and transformation. The Hub at Space of Mind, a creative community center, will wow you with culinary tastings from South Florida’s top chefs, art curated from professional, emerging, and student artists, a rare tribute set to the ‘80s by The Heavy Pets, and spirits from selected vendors! This party will teleport you straight to the ’80s with funds benefiting the Community Classroom Project (CCP), a culinary school and workforce training program.
