EXHIBIT OVERVIEW:

This April, the Coral Springs Museum of Art will host a juried group exhibition in the Hall Gallery at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. This opportunity is available to artists working in the South Florida region. Each artist may submit up to two artworks for consideration in the selection process. No reproductions or previously exhibited artworks will be accepted.

THEME: ACHROMATIC

The theme that unifies this exhibition is Black + White. Artworks that largely feature achromatic (black, white, and gray) value ranges will be considered. Artists are encouraged to investigate the significance of art without color and interpret the theme through the lens of their own style.

ELIGIBILITY:

1.) Artworks must not have been exhibited previously in a CSMoA exhibition.

2.) Artworks must be ready to hang with hanging wire, no D-rings. Three-dimensional works must also be able to hang on the wall.

3.) Artist must submit the $10 entry fee prior to the deadline in order to be considered in the jurying process.

4.) This exhibition is curated by museum and arts professionals according to the theme. Payment of entry fee does not necessarily guarantee inclusion in the exhibit.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The exhibition will consist of 2D and 3D work in all media. All work must be hangable with hanging wire, no D-rings. Three-dimensional works must also be able to hang on the wall. Accepted work cannot be substituted and must be available for the entire duration of the exhibit.
