Liv Cook

Liv Cook, a 21-year-old portrait artist from Pittsburgh, PA, crafts immersive large-scale works that blend realism with layered abstraction. Her passion for the arts has been lifelong; attending a classical ballet school for 13 years, majoring in visual arts at Pittsburgh CAPA from 2015-2018, and attending a makeup artistry and esthetician school in 2022. Her multidisciplinary background has cultivated a deep appreciation for human expression in all its forms.

Themes of identity, introspection, and vulnerability are at the forefront of her work as she produces bold portraits with an undeniably commanding presence. By harmonizing conflicting imagery, texture, finish variations, and editorial makeup looks, Liv weaves an elaborate and layered narrative. Merging the 2D and 3D realms, she is continuing to explore ways of composing a unique universe for her art to exist within.
