Janet “LuRu” Rudawsky

LuRu is exploring the medium of painting. Her current body of work is focused on the figure in, and as nature.  She is investigating perception and spirituality and the relationship that humanity has with the natural world. She borrows from historical symbolism while also creating her own metaphorical language.  Her figures are posed in natural settings as well as liminal spaces by manipulating dimensional versus flat space on the canvas.
