Claudette Sernius

Biogaphy

Claudette Goico Šernius is a Dominican artist based in South Florida. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a minor in Art History at Florida International University (FIU) Honors College. She studied under master paintor and sculptor Nilda Comas. She has won awards such as the Picasso Award, her work has been published in the Panku Magazine, received the Broward County Artist Support Grant and the Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA) Artist Residency. Her work has been featured at The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery & Exhibit Hall in Pembroke Pines, The Wolfsonian Museum and Laundromat Art Space in Miami.
