Oil paint artist Keith Clark presents a new collection of figurative work that draws on the artist’s personal experiences. Each painting tells a story inspired by love, heartbreak, tragedy, and angst and is accompanied by Clarks own prose. Clarks paintings reveal a depth of layers, texture, and color. Clark strives to pull the viewer into his paintings, to discover emotional elements in the voids, not through the forms themselves but through the texture of the paint, the voracity of the application, the layers of color, and the contrast of light to dark. www.keithclarkgallery.com
